So, school is out until February 2nd, and the holidays have been a mix of emotions. Steve was laid off just before Thanksgiving, and there haven't been a lot of job prospects because well, it's the holidays... Our insurance company is being a pain in the butt about our coverage, and I'm up to my eyeballs in paperwork. I made a solid A in my design tech class and a B in my design concept class. I'm really encouraged with the direction I've chosen with my education, but I'd like to finish college already! I also finished my first real graphic design project over the break. I successfully designed and worked with a real company to print my sister-in-law's graduation announcements, and everyone loves them! I know the holidays are supposed to be a time to enjoy your family and be thankful... but I'm just so stressed out about all the uncertainty that has come with the new year that I'm exhausted and grouchy, and just wish things would level out.
